Vis-en-Artois Memorial and Cemetery, Pas-de-Calais, France. The Memorial bears the names of over 9,000 men from the forces of Great Britain, Ireland and South Africa who fell in the period from 8 August 1918 to the date of the Armistice in the Advance to Victory in Picardy and Artois, between the Somme and Loos, and who have no known grave. In the cemetery lie over 2,200 British and Canadians who died in the capture of this sector on 27 August 1918.

One man of the North Irish Horse, Private J. McVea, is commemorated here. The location of his name on the memorial is shown on the CWGC memorial plan below.
